Dine Around, Downtown
Do you have plans tomorrow, December 3rd? No? Well, then you're going to want to grab your friends and a few cans of food, hop on the light rail and head to downtown Phoenix for the 2011 Downtown Dine Around. We have a feeling that you have been meaning to sample downtown's restaurant scene -- and this is your chance to try them all in one afternoon. Jump off the light rail at 3rd Street and take a quick walk north to the District American Kitchen & Wine Bar at the Sheraton for $3 Buffalo Sloppy Slider, $3 bacon wrapped dates ,and $3 pints of Oak Creeks Nut Brown Ale. Next, walk across the street to 1130 Restaurant at the Arizona Center where they will be serving up $3 lobster lettuce cups and $3 mini key lime pies or hit up Sam's Cafe for $2 Caritas Tacos and $3 margaritas. After that, head east for delicious bites from Province, Seamus McCaffrey's, the Ghost Lounge, Z Pizza, Tom's Tavern, Sing High, the Tilted Kilt, and the Phoenix Public Market.

The Dine Around is open to all -- but you might want to consider making a donation to the St. Mary's Food Bank. Tis' the season of sharing!) This event starts at 11 a.m. and restaurant specials end at 4 p.m. Click here to grab a menu and RSVP.

Beans & Greens
It's supposed to be a cold one this weekend, so to finish off our week of healthy eating we're makin' soup. Collar greens and white beans should pull you out of the Thanksgiving funk  -- and then it's time to start partying. With cookies. Lots of cookies.
