Beer fanatics have a new reason to get to the airport early these days. Or at least to not be so sad about delayed flights out of Phoenix.
Four Peaks Brewing Company's outlet at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport opened last weekend, meaning you can now get a pint of 8th Street Ale and a Taproom Tenderloin while you wait for your next journey to begin. It might just make the holiday season's long security lines just a little more bearable.

You'll find the bar near Security Point A in Terminal Four. The new location will feature all the brewery's beers on tap as well as most of the usual Four Peaks menu. And as with all the airport's dining outlets, it will offer food and drink at "street side" pricing so you don't have to pay more just because you're trapped in a terminal.
For now, you won't be able to buy any beers to-go (no growlers, sorry), but the brewery has indicated it will work on making that possible.
Though Arizona state law prevents selling beer between 2 and 6 a.m., Four Peaks will be open from 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
