Fundraiser Fiesta!

Don't miss House of Tricks' 20th Annual Wine Fiesta this Sunday, November 6th from 2 to 5 p.m. Eat, drink, and dance it up on the patio of Tempe's classiest restaurant. The kitchen will be cranking out the hors d'oeuvres and the bartenders will be serving up samples of multiple wines and a handful of hand-crafted beers. Proceeds from this year's event will be donated to Gabriel's Angels, a non-profit organization that helps bring pet therapy to at-risk kids. The Wine Fiestas have a history of selling out so you might want to register sooner then later. Tickets are $60 per person, click here to register or call 480-968-1114.

Ugly Brownies

Halloween is over. Boo. If you're anything like us you bought too much candy for the little ones and now you are looking at that giant, half-full bowl of sugar wondering what in the world to do with it. We like Jules' idea of throwing it all into a batch of brownies and we suggest you do the same and then pawn them off on your coworkers or else you're just going to end up eating it all yourself.
