Get ready, because there are going to a lot of hot new places to park yourself these next few days.

Earlier this week, Gilbert's newest Mexican restaurant Isabel's Amor opened its doors. The restaurant comes courtesy of the owners of Poncho's and Someburrosand features cocktails from none other than the mustached mixology master Travis Nass. Expect a menu of scratch-made Mexican comfort foods and homestyle dishes. And the tasty news doesn't stop there. Central Phoenix will welcome two more dining options to the scene on Monday, November 25.

That's when we'll see the opening of Chef Jared Porter's highly anticipated modern Asian dining and drinking joint, The Clever Koi. Porter's team of chef/owners also includes Joseph Absolor (formerly of the Parlor Pizzeria), Joshua James (beverage director), and Nicholas Campisano (general manager).

On the food side, expect innovative takes on classic Asian dishes including steamed buns, housemade dumplings, and noodle dishes. Beverages will include craft cocktails on tap, housemade shrubs, imported beers, and sakes. The restaurant, located at 4236 North Central Avenue, will be open for lunch and dinner.

And Ollie Vaughn's, the sandwich shop and bakery from former Lux baker Lindsey Magee, also will open Monday, November 25. The 1,300-square-foot restaurant at 1526 East McDowell Road (McDowell and 16th Street) will have a back patio, open kitchen and pastry cases.

The menu includes seasonally influenced salads and sandwiches all priced at under $10, as well as granola, soup, cookies, muffins, croissants, and pie.
