January Restaurant Openings and Closings in Metro Phoenix

The first month of 2014 was full of new beginnings for restaurant owners around the Valley. Last month, we saw the opening of Payton Curry and Dave Andrea's highly anticipated Taco Haus and welcomed several new restaurants to the booming dining scene in the Arcadia neighborhood.

• El Chullo, Phoenix

• Bottled Blonde, Scottsdale

• The WELL, Tempe

• Foosia, Scottsdale

• La Bocca Wine Bar & Urban Kitchen, Phoenix

• Grassroots Kitchen and Tap, Phoenix

"Grassroots Kitchen and Tap, the plainly delicious restaurant from fourth-generation restaurateur Christopher Collins, will open its second location on Monday in the space formerly occupied by Baby Kay's Cajun Kitchen."

• Kaleidoscope Juice, Old Town Scottdale
