Today: Jeff Kraus of Crepe Bar
Since July 2012, Jeff Kraus has been doing truly artistic cuisine at Tempe's Crepe Bar. Here you'll find Nutella-stuffed creations that turn French cuisine on its head with playful tweaks. He's known for his off-the-charts creativity -- and when you meet him in person you can see (or more likely, hear) that this chef's mind is always working.

On our most recent visit Kraus tells us he's been playing with mberry, or Miracle Berry tablets, which turn sour food sweet. Seriously, bite a lemon and it tastes like lemonade. It's a freaky, fun sensation and one that Kraus and his seemingly limitless imagination could do wonders with. He also tells us about his recent experience when Michelin starred chef Homaro Cantu rolled into the restaurant unannounced. Kraus, a huge fan of the chef's work, says serving him one of Crepe Bar's Papa K crepes was a real "dream come true."
