Beer Dinners at the Brittlebush
It's time to kick off the 2011-2012 beer dinner season at the Brittlebush Bar & Grill, Kierland Resort's very own public house -- and Flagstaff's Lumberyard Brewing Company is first up to bat. Join the North Scottsdale public house this Friday, November 18th, for four courses of gourmet eats paired with Lumberyard's best brews.
The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with a reception of passed appetizers paired with Lumberyard's signature Flagstaff I.P.A. Dinner starts at 7 p.m. with grilled razor clams with madras couscous and coconut sorbet followed by braised shot ribs and a bresaola and picked watermelon salad. Seafood Cioppino with sea bass, mussels and shrimp will be served as the main course with malted spiced waffle with salted caramel for dessert.
$55++ per person. Seating is limited and these dinners are known to sell out. Call 480-624-1202 for reservations. Click here to check out the full list of Brittlebush beer dinners and the complete Friday menu.
Roasted Radishes?
What the heck does one do with a bunch of radishes? A certain blogger's garden just happens to be full of them but that same blogger thinks they taste like dirt and doesn't want to eat them. Until this recipe showed up -- Maple Roasted Radishes. In theory, roasting anything with salt, pepper and maple syrup will taste awesome. It works with Brussels sprouts, hopefully it'll work with radishes!
