Chicken enthusiasts and those of you toying with the idea of become the proud owner of your very own coup, mark your calenders for Saturday, November 6th when the Phoenix Permaculture guild kicks off the 2nd Annual Tour de Coups with a panel discussion from 7 to 9 p.m. at ASU's downtown campus. Chicken experts from around the valley such as Rachel Bess, PPG Chicken Class instructor, Clint Hickman from Hickman Egg's, and Lacy Greer, Executive Board member of the Poultry Organization plus more will be discussing all aspects of the growing urban poultry movement. Zucchini Soup
Halloween is over which means it's time to switch gears from adorable to comforting. Soup seems to be what we're craving these days and this recipe from Chico's Kitchen sounds like it will hit the spot. Sauteed zucchini, onions and garlic all blended together with laughing cow cheese has never sounded better. Infuse your olive oil with chives the day before for an extra kick.
