We popped into Luci's Healthy Marketplace recently and discovered that they have added yet another offering to their ever growing and eclectic mix of deli, coffee, grocery goods, assorted sundries, organic produce, AND health food items - every Sunday evening from 5:30 - 7:30, Luci's will host a cooking demonstration.

Grab your sweetie and head over this weekend -- on February 14th, Chef Slade Grove of Wicked Bakers fame is hosting a Death by Chocolate demonstration.  The class, which is $45, promises a demo of five chocolate desserts including Chocolate Ganache, and - just kill us now - Milk Chocolate Mocha Tarts.

If you're already booked for Valentines Day, you can sign up to make savory crepes with Chef Candy Lesher on February 21st or bone up on your knife skills with Chef David Hall on February 28th. Classes are currently scheduled through March.

Unless otherwise noted, the cost of each seminar is $39.99 which includes something to nibble on while you watch and a 10% off coupon for a same-day market purchase.

For now, you must call to pre-pay for a reservation, no email or voicemail reservations are accepted. Call 602-773-1339 to register or to ask about future classes. Luci's Healthy Marketplace is located at the corner of Bethany Home and 16th Street.
