Coffee and craft beer fans looking for a new hangout in Old Town Scottsdale will get their wish next month.

Located at 3617 North Goldwater Road, in the new Creative Center of Scottsdale (on the west side of Scottsdale Road just north of Osborn Road), Sip Coffee & Beer House, courtesy of Travis and Tida Radevski, will open in December.

With a goal to "bring the small town feel to Downtown Scottsdale," Sip will feature locally focused high-end coffee and craft beers, music, and food courtesy of chef Payton Curry (Brat Haus, Taco Haus, Caffe Boa).

Sip's coffee beans will be provided by local roaster Cartel Coffee Lab. Brews will include 12 rotating craft beers on draft and more than 100 bottled varieties. Liquor-infused espresso and coffee drinks will be offered as well.

On the food side, Curry will create a changing array of pastries as well as breakfast, lunch, and dinner items.

Sip's newly designed space will utilize reclaimed materials from the original building accented with decor items plucked from yard sales and antique shops in town. The music -- indie, bluegrass, folk, deep funk, and house, as well as live bands -- will complement the scene.
