New Season of Check, Please! Arizona Premieres Thursday: Here Are the Restaurants

Set your DVRs to "lively roundtable restaurant discussions," folks. The new season of Check, Please! Arizona, the Emmy Award-winning series in which Arizona food fans review locally owned restaurants, premieres at 7 p.m. Thursday, January 2, on KAET Channel 8.

Hosted by James Beard Award-winning chef Robert McGrath, the fourth season of the half-hour show will highlight "inspiring food and drinks, ranging from award-winning cocktails for any occasion to ethnic specialty dishes that span the globe."

So which restaurants are on the Check, Please! chopping block this season? Take a look.

Each restaurant featured on Check, Please! Arizona has been nominated by a local viewer who is not affiliated with the restaurant in any way. To be featured, a restaurant must be local to Arizona, independently owned, and have been in business for a minimum of three years.

Season four restaurants include:

- Citizen Public House (Scottsdale) - La Piazza Al Forno (Glendale) - Sofrita (Fountain Hills) - Soul Cafe (Scottsdale) - Cucina Tagliani (Locations in Glendale and Peoria) - Ground Control (Litchfield Park) - Carlsbad Tavern (Scottsdale) - Amano Bistro (Phoenix) - Cowboy Ciao (Scottsdale) - Chez Vous Crêperie (Scottsdale) - Los Dos Molinos (Locations in Phoenix, Mesa, Springerville) - Tim Finnegan's Irish Restaurant and Pub (Phoenix) - Centurion Restaurant (Phoenix) - Flo's (Scottsdale) - Mimita's Cuban Café (Chandler)
