Divided Vine, a craft beer bar that opened last month, pours a variety of brews from 33 custom-made taps. The seed for the bar was planted when Jeff Attaway, who once worked in beer distribution, met Clayton Steffen and Emily Redfeather, who both worked at one of the bars he sold to. Today, the three co-own Divided Vine.

Beer is the focus. But there are also about 30 bottled wines and another four wines on tap, as well as Superstition meads and a pair of rotating ciders.

"We support beers from all over," Attaway says. "We have a lot of local beers on tap, but we bring in beers from California, Colorado, and abroad."

Craft brews are available on draft, and they also can be bought in cans and bottles that can be taken home. These offerings, mostly special and seasonal releases, come from Arizona brewers and afar.

Draft offerings rotate, including the on-tap wines and ciders. Cider-wise, Divided Vine recently carried ACE Pear and Superstition Meadery's Blueberry Spaceship Box, a serious duo.

The bar holds 77 people. An outdoor patio is coming.

Food-wise, Divided Vine serves eight variations of one thing: pie.

AZ Food Crafters (Mesa) will be supplying pies. They come in five savory flavors, including green-chile pork and Jamaican-style, and in hand pie form. Traditional dessert pies come in chocolate, apple, and pumpkin.

And in what seems to be a rising trend, there will be craft popcorn. Tease out your thirst for cool offerings like 12 West's Blap Blap or McFate's Candy Bar Stout with popped kernels in flavors like maple garlic, "devil spice," and cheddar cheese.
