Old Town Scottsdale now has a place dedicated to keeping things tiki chic.

The second location of Hula's Modern Tiki, the retro-themed Central Phoenix restaurant specializing in island-inspired eats, is now open at 213 East First Avenue in Scottsdale. The restaurant now occupies the space left emplty when Earl's Big BBQ closed its doors in mid-2013.

The Scottsdale location will serve the same menu of island-fusion fare, including dishes like Island Style Poke, Duke's Pork Luau Plate, and a Hula Burger with grilled pineapple, hula sauce, and cheese. The restaurant also offers a selection of fresh fish, which can be prepared in a number of ways: lemongrass, macadamia nut or coconut encrusted, Jamaican jerk-style, pan-fried.

Hula's Modern Tiki in Scottsdale has brought over the same happy hour deals you know from the original location, which includes $5 appetizers and signature tropical cocktails, $3.50 draft beers, and $2 Bud Light bottles. The deals run from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

For now, weekend brunch will only be available at the Phoenix location.
