Fast-casual restaurants always say how much they appreciate their customers, without whom they wouldn't survive, blah, blah. But today, Jimmy John's is putting its money where your mouth is.

As part of Customer Appreciation Day, the sub shop chain is offering their signature "freaky fast, freaky fresh" sandwiches for just a buck.

Stop by any Valley Jimmy John's location between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 16 and score a sammy on the cheap. They're only offering one of these babies per customer, so if you're feeling piggish (and like a total cheapskate) you'll either have to visit more than one location, don a disguise, or send your mom/gf/lackey in for a second one.

Of course, there are some other caveats to the freebie. Find out what you get for $1 after the jump...

The dollar deal is for a standard 8-inch sub in one of six varieties including vegetarian, Totally Tuna, roast beef, Turkey Tom, or our favorite -- the Italian "Vito" sandwich with genoa salami, provolone, capicola and veggies. We suspect you'll have to wait on line, but even if it's out the door at locations such as Tempe Marketplace or Mill Avenue, it's worth the wait for a cheap-ass lunch that didn't come out of a vending machine.

To find your nearest Jimmy John's, check out the handy-dandy online store locator.
