Late Summer Cooking Classes
If you haven't checked out the Summer Chef Series at the Phoenix Pubic Market, you better hurry up -- there are just two classes left. Tomorrow, join the Market for a lesson in Southwest cooking with John Hall from Canela Bistro. The two hour class includes a cheese making demo and a three-course meal which will focus on native foods featuring the best of the best from local farms and markets and will also be paired with wine from Doz Cabezas and Callaghan Vineyards. Next week, Michael Brown from food truck Jamburritos finishes out the summer series. Click here for more information or to register for one or both classes.

Cupcakes & Beer

It seems like an odd combo -- cupcakes and beer -- doesn't quite roll off the tongue. But cupcakes made with beer, well that's a different story. We're pretty sure that a batch of these made with a splash of OJ would make the the perfect treat for the long weekend. Click here to check out Cupcake Project's latest beer creation.
