With restaurants like the Hotel Palomar's Blue Hound Kitchen & Cocktails opening its doors today, new taco shop Fuego CityScape (which moved into Aaron May's former Vitamin T Space) opening later this month, and pan-Asian restaurant Silk Sushi still planning to open later this summer, can downtown's CityScape handle any more new tenant news?
Apparently it can, as long as its wearing a tailored-fit broadcloth point-collar dress shirt with advanced wrinkle-resistance and moisture wicking.
The Phoenix Business Journal reports that Potbelly Sandwich Shop, a Chicago-based, fast-casual chain with over 250 stores in several states, will open its first Arizona location at CityScape (next to Fuego Cityscape on First Street) this fall, in addition to a downtown location of the men's clothing store, JoS. A. Bank Clothiers.
Potbelly, whose tagline is "Good vibes, great sandwiches," specializes in hot hoagies on a choice of regular or multi-grain bread, salads, soups, smoothies, and hand-dipped shakes in addition to featuring live music from local musicians in many of its locations.
CityScape general manager Jeff Moloznik tells the Phoenix Business Journal that CityScape is currently operating at around 80 percent capacity, and that its 180,000 square feet of retail space will be completely in use by the year's end.
