What'd you eat for dinner last night? Green corn tamales, chicken taquitos with guacamole and a cheese crisp at Macayo's

Favorite food: Lasagna

Least favorite food: Anchovies

Favorite dessert: Key Lime Pie

Favorite local restaurant and meal to order there: Lo Lo's Chicken and Waffles--fried catfish, mac n' cheese, greens and cornbread. Of course, with some sweet tea with lemon and a slice of their famous red velvet cake for dessert (which I usually have to bring home and eat later because they give you so much food!).

Favorite local bar and cocktail to order there: Ice Pics Video Bar--Skyy Pineapple Press

Favorite thing to cook at home: Smothered Chicken, Heart Attack Mac n' Cheese and all the fixin's! Can you tell I loves me some soul food?

Favorite memory involving food: When I was 7 years old, my parents brought me out to eat at a fancy restaurant and told me I could order whatever I wanted. I told then I wanted lobster. They said they didn't have lobster there. I then pointed to the word lobster in the menu and said, "Yes, they do...l-o-b-s-t-e-r, $21.95". Needless to say, I got my lobster!

Recipe or food tip to share: When making fried chicken, always double dip!
