Short Leash Hot Dogs second brick-and-mortar restaurant is now open inside Union at the Biltmore Fashion Park. Unlike Short Leash Short Lease, the restaurant's semi-permanent pop-up restaurant that opened in a different spot at Union earlier this year, the new restaurant is going to be a permanent fixture inside the shopping center.

In addition to serving a selection of Short Leash signature creations, the small counter service spot is also offering doughnuts from Short Leash's Rollover Doughnuts.

Short Leash's new spot inside Union is the space that used to house British Bicycle Company. It's a small space with just enough room for a kitchen, counter, and a bar with about five seats. There's only one other table for Short Leash diners and it's placed just outside of the restaurant in the main walkway. We're guessing the main draw here will be for take-out orders.

As far as the menu, it's not as expansive as what's available at the full size Sit...Stay restaurant in Downtown Phoenix. But you can get all seven of Short Leash's signature dogs (the Aiko, Moki, Lady, Oliver, Bear, Igby, and the Devil Dog), as well as corn dogs.

One small menu change: There's no deep-fryer at the Union restaurant, so you won't get fried pickles on your Lady, as usual. And in case you were wondering, the corn dogs are fried off-site and then re-heated in a convection oven.

You'll also find some of the doughnuts from Short Leash's new Rollover Doughnuts concept. The creatively-flavored brioche doughnuts include options such as Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Spicy Thai Coconut.

Rollover Doughnuts are also available via the Rollover Doughnuts food truck, at Sit...Stay, and at the former Shine Coffee on Vernon. The coffee shop and doughnut spot, which Short Leash purchased earlier this fall, is now open seven days a week. Sunday hours are from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
