What'd you eat for dinner last night? Last night my roommate barbecued for the holiday. Lots of great meat.

Favorite food: I always enjoy lamb when I eat anywhere nice enough to have a good lamb dish. George and Dragon has a great roast lamb on Sunday's.

Least favorite food: I am not a big fan of anything too sour or bitter.

Favorite dessert: The donuts with chocolate sauce at Hanny's. If you have not had them, you have no idea what I am talking about, they are just so unique.

Favorite local restaurant and meal to order there: This is to hard to limit to just one, there are just so many great restaurants in Phoenix right now. I love the Ex-Patriot at Carly's Bistro, the Grande Burro at Los Dos Molinos and the Margherita at Pizzeria Bianco.

Favorite local bar and cocktail to order there: Favorite bar is The Lost Leaf, and I like to get either a Kronenberg 1664 or Pilsner Urquell. I just went to The Duce and had the best screwdriver there. They make it with fresh squeezed locally grown oranges right in front of you with an old-fashioned juicer. The Duce is certainly a neat spot people should check out.

Favorite thing to cook at home: I am not much of a cook. I make sandwiches or soups or anything else easy. I eat out most of the time.

Favorite memory involving food: I love traveling and trying new things in far away places. One of the best parts of touring with bands is getting to eat great food all over the country: barbecue in Austin, soul food in the south, hot dogs in Chicago, great organic food in the North West. But the best part is, after a long trip, coming back to Arizona and being able to get real Mexican food again. You just can't get good Mexican food about anywhere else.

Recipe or food tip to share: Have a roommate who likes to cook--it's great to be surprised with a fun meal.
