Thai salad and the Twilight saga? Following the September opening of the AMC Esplanade 14 Dine-In Theater in Central Phoenix, the Studio Movie Grill, pioneer of the in-theatre dining concept, opens in North Scottsdale today.

The anchor of the Sonora Village at 15515 North Hayden Road, just south of Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard, SMG will offer nine state-of-the-art screens, leather recliners, dining tables, and a central bar. With zero concession stands, patrons push a call button for a sever who will deliver food and drinks directly to their seats. Most food items are under ten bucks.

"Our menu boasts more than 100 food and beverage items, ranging from made-to-order loaded hamburgers to healthy salads," says SMG president founder and president Brian Schultz. "We also offer daily specials, like 'Endless Pizza' on Wednesdays."
