38: The Small Box from Rock and Roll Fingers

We appreciate variation on a menu. We also appreciate a place that knows what it does best and sticks to it. At Rock-N-Roll Fingers, they've got fresh and delicious chicken fingers down better than anyone else in the Valley. You'll find this hole-in-the-wall at the corner of Broadway and Rural, back behind the Applebee's (whose chicken fingers don't even compete in the same bracket as Rock-N-Roll's). Rock-N-Roll Fingers are the heavy weights of the chicken finger world. You can even get those suckers soaked in buffalo sauce if you like to roll spicy.

These chicken fingers aren't any ordinary freezer burned fare. At Rock-N-Roll Fingers the white meat chicken is fresh, never frozen, hand battered and deep fried to a golden crisp. Our favorite platter is the small plate of fingers, with two fresh chicken fingers, a mound of waffle fries, and one dipping sauce. If you're feeling a bit plucky that day, go for the full platter with an extra finger, a side of Texas toast and one more dipping sauce. The special sauce is a definite must, but they've also got honey mustard, blue cheese, ranch, bbq, thai chili, honey and buffalo sauce. The owner also likes to toss in an extra finger if you bring a first-timer to the joint, so enlist a friend and go enjoy some of the best dang chicken fingers Tempe has to offer!
