There's been some rumors flying around the cookie world lately (I LOVE the cookie world -- it's fun and tastes like baking!) about a possible Triple Double Oreo, an assemblage of three chocolate Oreo wafers with two layers of creme -- classic vanilla and chocolate. Recently the maker of "Milk's Favorite Cookie," Nabisco, confirmed the buzz in a statement to Today.com, saying the new variety will be released this summer.
Now it appears the fine and funny folks over at Foodbeast have gotten their hands on a package for a taste test. After calling it "the Big Mac Oreo," things get a bit out of hand (Sugar rush maybe?) when they pair the newest Oreo innovation with Spam musubi and then a cupcake.
Check out the taste test video and find how many grams of fat each cookie's gonna cost after the jump.
According to Foodbeast, each Triple Double Oreo cookie contains 100 calories and 4.5 grams of fat. There's also a recipe for a Triple Double Oreo Tartufo on the back of the package. Cookie classy!
But will the new Triple Double Oreo beat out the Double Stuf Oreo? Looks like we'll have to wait and see.
