The Yard Tempe Will Include New Location of Aaron May's Over Easy

As we told you earlier this summer, Tempe will soon be home to the second location of Sam Fox's ambitious mutli-use complex called The Yard. Like the original Phoenix location, The Yard Tempe will include a new location of Fox's Culinary Dropout restaurant and a few other local businesses.

In June we told you one of those businesses would be Madison Improvement Club and now Fox Restaurant Concepts has announced a second tenant, Aaron May's popular breakfast spot Over Easy.

Fox Restaurant Concepts has also announced an official opening date for the anchor tenant of the complex. Culinary Dropout at The Yard Tempe is expected to open on Tuesday, December 9.

Over Easy and two private event spaces, The Showcase Room and The Coop, are expected to open by the end of the year.

Over Easy at The Yard Tempe will be the fifth Valley location of the breakfast spot that's been featured on Food Network and in Bon Appetite Magazine. May, also of The Lodge in Scottsdale, most recently opened locations in Mesa and Gilbert in 2013.

The Madison at The Yard Tempe -- a cafe and spin and yoga studio -- is already open to the public. It includes the s.e.e.d. mini-Café, which offers to-go salads, sandwiches, fresh-pressed juices. and smoothies.
