Beauty Lab: Cookin' up good looks in nature's pharmacy.

I'm hilarious. How do I know? Because I've got lines around my eyes from laughing so hard at my own jokes. What to do? Consult The Beauty Cookbook by authors and beauty experts Kym Douglas and Cindy Pearlman.

In the chapter titled "The Fifth Course," Kym and Cindy say they've got a simple, easy secret to fight these facial foes. Even many of the most expensive anti-aging potions use it as their top ingredient. Do tell!

Green grapes.

Large green grapes.

Not eating them, but cutting them in half and crushing them so their mushy innards are on your face and neck. Leave them there for 20 minutes, then rinse with cool water and pat dry.

Sounds easy. It wasn't. I got slimed. Here's what the book doesn't say:

- How do you like your slime? Depending on where your large green grapes are coming from, prepare for chilly ectoplasm or warm booger goo on your face.

- Take precautions against the mess you're going to make:
Here's a fun fact: Grape innards don't stick to your face, they make a slimy run for it. Into your hair, down your neck, or onto your clothes.

- It's a two-woman job:
Squirting food innards on your face just isn't natural. Get someone to help who will revel in your shameful quest for youth.

- DO NOT MOVE:
You have sticky fruit slime on your face. One wrong move, and your face is a flesh-covered lint roller.

Verdict: The process was weird, and kinda gross. The best part was washing it off after 20 minutes. I didn't look younger, but thankfully, I'm just as funny.
