Our Caramelpalooza limerick contest didn't draw as many entries as the haiku one did, but we do have a winner, Susan Martin, who came up with an excellent one:
In life there are good things to eat,
from savory right through to sweet.
so I want to take
a short caramel break
because chocolate is not as elite.
Pretty good, huh? Susan wins a golden ticket to Friday's Caramelpalooza, going down at 7 p.m. at Smeeks candy shop in CenPho.
We've got one more contest -- with a darn sweet prize, if you ask us.
Want to be an official judge in our blind caramel tasting?!
You do? OK, then get those creative juices flowing. It's time to write an acrostic.
We promise, this will be easier than a limerick. Maybe even easier than haiku. You don't have to count. You just have to write down the word CARAMEL and come up with some more words, which make you think of your favorite sweet -- or otherwise inspire you! Here's an example:

Lovely caramel.
Yours will be way better, we know. Leave it in the comments section along with your email address (or email both to [email protected]) by Tuesday, February 28 at 5 p.m. and we'll let the lucky winner know by Wednesday morning.
