Artists converged on
Grand Avenue during
Third Friday on June 21 to create a walkable canvas filled with chalk drawings. We watched Nyla Lee work her magic throughout the evening. Tato Caraveo created an elongated surreal skull, Kyllan Maney made a giant glow-in-the dark mandala with plenty of spaces for community members to fill in, and others drew images inspired by everything from pop culture to Aztec culture. Here's a look at some of the highlights.
