This week Sushi Roku in Scottsdale will be celebrating six years in business with a variety of dinner-only specials including half off your entire meal. The celebration will also include a two-course tasting menu with one dish from the sushi bar and one from the kitchen, paired with a glass of Veuve Clicquot French Champagne for $40 per person. Reservations are required to guarantee the 50 percent of dinner deal. Walk ins will be taken on a first come first served basis.

Pink Pony Wednesday, October 29

On Wednesday Pink Pony in Scottsdale will be teaming up with two local businesses for an evening of wine, cheese, and charcuterie. The event will feature a selection of artisan cheeses supplied by Lara Mulchay of Hot Dish Inc. and wines from winemaker Sam Pillsbury of Pillsbury Wine Co. Pink Pony chef Stephen K. Eldridge will showcase charcuterie and treats. The event, which goes from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., costs $25 per person if booked online. $35 at the door.

Revo Pizzabar Opens on Wednesday, October 29

This week Tempe will welcome a new dining spot to the neighborhood when Revo Pizzabar opens below the Tempe Transit Center at 200 E. Fifth Street. Revo will be a one-stop-shop for students, commuters, passer-bys and night owls, serving coffee and pastries from locally sourced businesses during the morning and wood fired pizzas into the late-night hours.
