Girl Scout Cookie Dessert Challenge Now through Saturday, February 28
For the second year in a row more than a dozen local restaurants will create a special dessert inspired by a classic Girl Scout cookie flavor such as Do-Si-Dos, Samoas Tagalongs, Thin Mints, Trefoils, or this year's new flavor Rah Rah Raisin. Participating restaurants and their creations include Double Chocolate Thin Mint Cookie Mousse at 32 Shea; Banana Trefoil Puddin' at Bink's Midtown, Bink's Scottsdale, and Café Bink's; Tagalong Shortbread at CHoP; Samoa Cookie Gelato at Gelato Spot; Samoa Decadence at Rusconi's; and Bruleed Salted Chocolate Tart with Somoa Cookie Crust at Second Story Liquor Bar. A portion of the proceeds from each dessert will benefit Girl Scout's Camp Sombrero in south Phoenix.
