Girl Scout Cookie Dessert Challenge Now through Saturday, February 28

For the second year in a row more than a dozen local restaurants will create a special dessert inspired by a classic Girl Scout cookie flavor such as Do-Si-Dos, Samoas Tagalongs, Thin Mints, Trefoils, or this year's new flavor Rah Rah Raisin. Participating restaurants and their creations include Double Chocolate Thin Mint Cookie Mousse at 32 Shea; Banana Trefoil Puddin' at Bink's Midtown, Bink's Scottsdale, and Café Bink's; Tagalong Shortbread at CHoP; Samoa Cookie Gelato at Gelato Spot; Samoa Decadence at Rusconi's; and Bruleed Salted Chocolate Tart with Somoa Cookie Crust at Second Story Liquor Bar. A portion of the proceeds from each dessert will benefit Girl Scout's Camp Sombrero in south Phoenix. For more information or to see the complete list of participating restaurants check the Girl Scouts-Arizona Cactus-Pine Council website.
