Strong Beer Festival Saturday, February 14
This weekend kicks off Arizona Beer Week and on Saturday the festival's marquee event, the Strong Beer Festival, will take over Steele Indian School Park in Phoenix. The event brings together dozens of craft breweries that will pour hundreds of different types of beers. General admission, which costs $45, includes a commemorative 4 ounce tasting glass, as well as 40 samples (2 ounce pours) of beers. Food will be available for purchase and free water bottles will be available. Gates open at 1 p.m. and last call will be at 4:45. For tickets or more information check the Arizona Beer Week website. Arizona Cocktail Week Saturday, February 14 through Saturday, February 21
Though Arizona Cocktail Week technically runs through next Saturday, most of the events are going down this weekend. There are two full days of seminars held at the Hotel Valley Ho on Saturday and Sunday. We weren't super excited about the whiskey-heavy lineup, but there are some interesting sounding options in there such as the "Defining Craft" seminar presented by Steve Olson and "At-Home Mixology" presented by Kathy Casey of The Liquid Kitchen. Valentine's Dining Specials Saturday, February 14
Still haven't finalized your plans for Valentine's Day?
