This summer The Herb Box at DC Ranch and Southbridge has brought back its Supper Club Series that will take diners on a culinary adventure around the world. For the next two months, the restaurant will offer prix fixe dinners on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, each of which will feature the cuisine of a different country. The series begins this week with a Greekfest-themed menu that includes Arugula-Watermelon Salad, Greek Lasagna, and Greek doughnuts in honey syrup, cinnamon, bittersweet chocolate and crushed walnuts. The dinner costs $30 per person and include three courses, plus a glass of wine. For reservations call 480-289-6160 (Southbridge) or 480-289-6180 (DC Ranch).

Christopher's Today through Saturday, July 19

All this week chef Christopher Gross is celebrating La Fête Nationale at his Biltmore-area restaurant, Christopher's. The chef will be offering a menu of classic French dishes including Cuisses de Grenouille, or frog legs with herb butter); Pied de Cochon, or pigs feet in puff pastry; Coq Au Vin, or chicken in red wine; and Profiteroles, or cream puffs with ice cream and chocolate. The three course dinner also includes a housemade French baguette per table and costs $40 a person. For reservations call 602-522-2344.

Chompie's Wednesday, July 16

This week Chompie's is offering its famous Jewish sliders for half price in celebration of their 5th annual Customer Appreciation Day. From 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16 customers can purchase one to four Jewish Sliders for half price (regularly $3.99 each). The award-winning sliders are made with challah rolls, lean brisket, mini potato pancakes, and Jack cheese.

Whiskey is having a huge revival right now and if you're looking for a way to start exploring the world of this brown spirit, head to El Chorro this Wednesday. The iconic Arizona restaurant is hosting an American Whiskey class during which attendees will receive personal instruction on how to craft cocktails from Beverage Manager Alec van Dobben. The class will also include a bar-side meal prepared by Executive Chef Charles Kassel. The event costs $65 and starts at 6 p.m. RSVP online.

J&G Steakhouse Now through the end of summer

This year J&G Steakhouse, along with 10 other Arizona restaurants, received the Wine Spectator Best Of Award of Excellence. The award is the second tier of recognition the magazine awards, below the prestigious Grand Award and above the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. This is J&G Steakhouse's fourth year in a row earning the Best Of distinction and in celebration the steakhouse is offering every bottle on their list under $100 at half off, every day from 5 to 7 p.m.
