Now through Thursday The Gladly is celebrating its one year anniversary by thanking customers with a few sweet -- and savory -- deals. All week the restaurant will be giving dine-in dinner guests one $1 Original Chopped Salad per table, as well as a complimentary anniversary dessert of chef Bernie Kantak's choice for two people to share during both dinner and lunch. The celebration will also double as the debut of The Gladly's updated look, which includes bold-patterned wallpaper and new furniture and accessories in the dining room and bar.

Barrio Queen Tuesday, September 16

Barrio Queen in Scottsdale is celebrating Mexican Independence Day tomorrow with a handful of deals on food and drinks. Head over to the restaurant and tequileria for a lineup of drink specials including deals on three tequila brands: Herencia Mexicana ($6 Blanco, $8 Reposado, $11 Añejo), Revolucion Tequila ($6 Blanco, $7 Reposado), and Hijos de Villa ($8 Blanco, $10 Reposado, $12 Añejo). Special dishes including Tres Tamales, Chile en Nogada, and Buñuelo will also be available.

Rusconi's American Kitchen Wednesday, September 17

On Wednesday chef Michael Rusconi will celebrate the second anniversary of his North Phoenix restaurant, Rusconi's American Kitchen. In honor of the occasion the restaurant will be serving a special menu priced at $33 per person for three courses, as well as a complimentary glass of sparkling wine and cake. The Rusconi's American Kitchen signature Cucumber Tarrantini cocktail, made with cucumber, gin and tarragon, will be available for $4. A formal toast and cake cutting will happen at 6:00 PM. Cowboy Ciao Wednesday, September 17

Wine lovers will already know that Cowboy Ciao is a destination for vino-philes -- heck, the regular wine list has been compared to The Bible. But this week the restaurant will be offering something special. Cowboy Ciao is hosting Luca Vitiello of Italy's winery Tenuta Fanti for a special wine dinner. The event costs $40 and includes four-courses and four glasses of wine. Call Call 480-946-3111 for a reservation. Space is limited.

Proof, an American Canteen Friday, September 19

If you like head-to-tail eating and beer, then you won't want to miss the dinner going down this Friday at Proof. The restaurant, located at the Four Seasons Resort in Scottsdale, is holding a head-to-tail communal-style dinner with dishes such as Pork Belly, with apples, sweet onions, and crispy pig ears and Smoked Pork Chop with Sweet Corn Hoe Cakes, with braised cabbage and cider gastrique. Each of the courses will also be paired with a beer from San Francisco-based Anchor Brewing including their Anchor Big Leaf Maple Ale and Anchor Lager.
