Picking a favorite taco at this cute place that specializes in them is sort of like picking an outfit: What are you in the mood for?
Beer-battered dogfish hits the spot, chicken mole is one of the best things here, and even the veggie taco is intriguing, filled with mushrooms, spinach, roasted poblanos, garlic, and Oaxacan cheese.
Mix and match as you please, but don't miss the cochinita pibil, a classic Yucatan dish of pork shoulder smothered in achiote rojo and slow-roasted in banana leaves. The result is unbelievably tender, flavorful meat that's complimented by a garnish of tangy marinated onions and salsa habanera maya.
