Beer Bottle Pants: The Best Way to Show Your Dedication to the Environment

It's pretty rare that we get to talk about clothing here at Chow Bella, which is probably a good thing -- most of our writers' wardrobes could be accurately described as "clearance rack chic." But today -- on Earth Day, no less -- the good folks at Bonobos have given us reason to dish out style advice.

Their new Bottle Rocket denim pants are made from a special yarn produced entirely from recycled cotton, recycled polyester, and recycled plastic beer bottles. That's right: the cheapo plastic bottles of brew you reluctantly picked up at the baseball game are now serving a higher purpose as outerwear. Each pair of Bottle Rockets contains between 3-5 beer bottles, in fact. Pick them up for $135 here, then wear them on Earth Day -- or any day you feel like bringing beer to work.
