The BLD Beet
This Saturday, December 17th, Chef Ehren from Chandler's breakfast, lunch, and dinner spot,  BLD, is out to teach you a lesson -- a lesson in beets. Gather round the communal table as Chef Ehren teaches you the ways of the beautiful, nutritious beet by making a lovely roasted beet salad with goat cheese and arugula; beets carpaccio with fresh burrata; and almonds, and a colorful beet risotto perfect for  your holiday table. Each class includes a glass of wine to sip, samples of everything the chef demos, and recipes to take home. $30 per person. Seating is extremely limited. Call 480-779-8646 to reserve your seat.

14 Days of December Desserts - Day 8

If yesterday's raspberry macarons were out of your baking comfort zone maybe these Chocolate Oreo Truffles will be a little more your speed. All you need is the ability to mix three ingredients together, form little truffle balls, and then dip said truffles in chocolate. Think cake pops without having to bake a cake and minus the sticks. Super easy, no baking required -- and they are delicious!
