Making a charitable donation has never been as easy (or as boozey) as it is with New Times' monthly happy hour event, Brews to Benefit. This Thursday, November 7, we will be at Taste of Tops in Tempe pouring Four Peaks brews to raise money for a local non-profit.

Ten bucks for four beers and a side of good karma.

This month's featured brewery will be the award-winning Four Peaks Brewery. The features beers will include:

  • Kilt Lifter
  • Hop Knot
  • Peach Ale
  • 8th Street Ale

For $10 attendees will get four drink tickets each good for a full beer each and a portion of the proceeds will go to The Clothes Cabin.

The organization is a "faith-based ministry providing free clothing and household linens to people in need." Formed in 2001, The Clothes Cabin serves thousands of people in the east Valley every year. For more information about the organization visit The Clothes Cabin website.

Past Brews to Benefits events have sold out so you may consider purchasing your tickets ahead of time online. For more information or for details about other upcoming Brews to Benefits events, visit the Brews to Benefit website.

Keep Phoenix New Times Free... Since we started Phoenix New Times, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Phoenix, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Phoenix with no paywalls.
