Brews to Benefit This Thursday, June 6, at O.H.S.O. Eatery + nanoBrewery in Phoenix

Every month, New Times hosts a happy hour event at a local bar or restaurant during which attendees raise a glass -- or rather, four glasses -- to charity. This month's event will be held at O.H.S.O. Eatery + nanoBrewery in Phoenix, to raise some money for Chicks With Picks. For just a 10-spot you'll be able to snag four beers from this month's featured brewery, Grand Canyon Brewing Company.

June's Brews to Benefit event will be held tomorrow -- Thursday, June 6 from 6 to 8 p.m.

$10 will get you into the happy hour party and buy you four drink tickets good for a full beer each. Grand Canyon Brewing Company will be on hand to offer samples of their keystone brews including:

  • American Pilsner
  • Sunset Amber Ale
  • White Water Wheat
  • Black Iron IPA

A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit the non-profit foundation Chicks with Picks, which helps young aspiring musicians in need through developing their talents for music. The local organization has helped more than 300 musicians find their way through festivals and music shows. The group also offers workshops that cover topics surrounding the music community and industry.

Tickets to the event can be purchased on the Brews to Benefit ticketfly page. For more information visit the Brews to Benefit website.
