56: Caribbean Candy Bar from Havana Café

Sometimes you feel like a nut. Sometimes you don't. And sometimes you want a more adult version of a coconut sweet treat that doesn't come out of a vending machine.

Enter the Caribbean Candy Bar from Havana Café, the traditional Latin cuisine eatery with locations in Phoenix and Scottsdale. This cool, coconut dessert is perfect for summer. And did someone say rum fudge sauce?

The Caribean Candy Bar features coconut flan and candied coconut sprinkled with toasted almonds and topped with whipped cream and rum fudge sauce.

A dessert that's lighter than it looks, the flan is deliciously cool, smooth, and refreshing, the candied bits of coconut and toasted almonds add texture, and the rum fudge sauce is just enough to add a bit of warm, chocolate sweetness to this decidedly island indulgence.
