Hungry for your early morning serving of food news, with no preservatives or additives?

Christmas in Carefree

Spend the day on the tranquil patio or up on the scenic rooftop bar of Carefree Station this Christmas from noon to 8 p.m.. The menu will feature many of their signature dishes and a variety of salads and sandwiches with a Southwestern flair. Carefree Station is tucked away in the Spanish Village shopping center off Ho Hum Road in Carefree. Reservation are recommended and can be made by calling 480-488-8182

Holiday Fudge
Christmas is quickly approaching which means you better get baking! The next few Eater's Digests will feature some of our favorite holiday desserts for all of you last minute bakers. First up, Candy Cane Fudge from Foodess. Chocolate and peppermint go hand in hand with the holidays and we are going to devour every last peppermint morsel whether it be on top of fudge or in hot chocolate. These pretty treats would make a great last minute gift too!

Keep Phoenix New Times Free... Since we started Phoenix New Times, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Phoenix, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Phoenix with no paywalls.
