If your Valentine isn't into any of the crazy chocolates we shared earlier this week -- we're still on the fence about that peanuts and ketchup combination -- the Valley's own Country Velador has a Valentine's Day "Care Package" that's nearly guaranteed to have something he or she will enjoy.
The limited edition packages are sized to share and come with a variety of Velador's hand-crafted treats including Super Chunk Sweets and Treats' signature Chocolate Bacon Caramel Corn and their one-of-a-kind black licorice we've been saying you really need to try.
Fifty Valentine's Day "Care Packages" will be on sale at Super Chunk Sweets and Treats in Scottsdale beginning on Wednesday, January 29. The baskets will cost $36 each and include the following artisan confections:
- Chocolate Bacon Caramel Corn
- Black Licorice (made with fennel, anise, and green chartreuse)
- Strawberry Fudge
- Duck Fat Toffee
- White Chocolate Bark with honeycomb and pistachios
- Cayenne Chocolate Bark with freeze-dried raspberries and dried wild blueberries
- Mesquite Chocolate Chip Cookies
- Violet Taffy
- Dulce de Leche Caramels
The Care Packages will be available for pickup only. Super Chunk Sweets and Treats, located next-door to Cowboy Ciao, is open Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information visit the Super Chunk Sweets and Treats website.
