Halloween is here, and if you haven't figured out what costume you'll be sporting, there's just a bit of time to get it together, slacker. But more important (at least to us) is how you'll dress up your adorable four-legged friend.

Love food? So do we. And we want to see your pet disguised as food this Halloween. Give it a go and you might just win dinner on us.

Entering is as easy as can be: Just snap a picture of your pet in its food costume and post it on Instagram. To be sure we see it, use the hashtag #ChowBellaPets.

And if you're not feeling creative, just check out check our Instagram out at @ChowBellaPHX for a few ideas of adorable costumes. You can also revisit our list of the 10 Best Food Costumes for Pets.

Our guilty pleasure columnist JK Grence will pick his favorite costume. The winner will get dinner, on us, with the man himself.

Entries will be accepted through midnight tonight.

Good luck and may the best pet win!

Keep Phoenix New Times Free... Since we started Phoenix New Times, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Phoenix, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Phoenix with no paywalls.
