The Great Arizona Beer Festival
Arizona Beer Week may be over, but there's still another reason to sip those suds. The 25th Annual Great Arizona Beer Festival is happening this Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m. at Tempe Beach Park. Showcasing more than 200 beers from more than 50 local, national, and international breweries, this fundraising event benefits Sounds of Arizona, a nonprofit radio reading service for those with print disabilities. In case you haven't heard, food truck favorite and comfort food connoisseurs Old Dixie's Southern Kitchen has made a new home inside downtown Phoenix's historic Welcome Diner. 35th Annual Arizona State Open Chili Championship
Casa Grande may not be the hottest destination in Arizona, but temperatures will certainly be rising this weekend with the 35th Annual Arizona State Open Chili Championship. Happening from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Ed Hooper Park, this all-ages event will feature chili competitions, car shows, live music, as well as arts and food vendors.
