It's been a while since I've strolled down Mill Avenue on a Saturday night. This past weekend, downtown Tempe's main drag was nearly a mob scene, with people of all ages out on the town. No surprise, Mojo Yogurt seemed to be doing a brisk business. I'd never gotten a look at the place in the evening -- it was a shiny, space-age, self-serve yogurt lounge that looked really inviting.
What is it with fro-yo shops and their mod aesthetic? Don't get me wrong, I dig it. But I can't help but notice the trend.
On a related note, another Tempe frozen yogurt spot -- Chill, located in the same strip mall as Pita Jungle on Apache -- is back open, just in time for tomorrow's forecasted 100 degree weather.
