Now that Sens Asian Tapas & Sake Bar is up and running with its dinner service, chef-owner Johnny Chu has finally added lunch hours (11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Saturday) and a new wok menu. (***Update: Lunch starts Monday, February 9.)

By "new," I actually mean new to Sens, since some of these dishes are what made Chu a boldfaced name to begin with, like red curry, "House Dynamite," and "Black Dragon," the best black bean sauce in town. (Chu's no longer involved with Fate, his original restaurant.)

Here's what's on the lunch menu:

The Wok
Choice of Chicken or Tofu
Shrimp or Tenderloin Beef

Duk Gook
flat rice noodles w/bok choy, broccoli, sprouts, baby corn, carrots, mushroom, sugar peas, and green onions in a garlic sauce

Pad Thai
rice noodles with carrots, onions, sprouts, beech mushroom and peanuts in a ginger chili sauce

House Dynamite
bell pepper, sugar peas, pineapple, carrot, bac ha, beech mushrooms, and peanuts in a sweet spicy sauce

Spicy Basil
bok choy, straw mushrooms, onions in a spicy basil sauce

Black Dragon
flat rice noodles w/bok choy, broccoli, sprouts, baby corn, carrots, mushroom, sugar peas,
and green onions in a black bean sauce

Sweet Wasabi
bell pepper, sugar peas, pineapple, carrot, bac ha, beech mushrooms, sesame in
a spicy wasabi sauce

Red Curry
sugar peas, carrots, mushrooms, okra, pineapple, and mushrooms
