Original ChopShop Co. Is Now Open in Chandler

If we said we never get a craving for Original ChopShop Co.'s kale Caesar salad every now and then, we'd be lying. The local restaurant focusing on healthy eats and pressed-to-order juices has been a hit already in both Scottsdale and Tempe.

And now it's time to get excited, Southeast Valley, because you've got your very own Original ChopShop Co. at 35 West Boston Street in downtown Chandler.

The first Original ChopShop Co. opened on the corner of Fifth Avenue and Scottsdale Road in Old Town Scottsdale just over a year ago and was followed by a second location in Tempe later in 2013.

All three restaurants offer a menu of health-minded eats that include salads, sandwiches, and protein plates for lunch and dinner. There are also a breakfast menu with options like bowls, wraps, and a parfait as well as protein shakes and pressed juices.

Keep Phoenix New Times Free... Since we started Phoenix New Times, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Phoenix, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism.
