Although we're still waiting on air dates for four of them -- St. Francis, The Duce, Defalco's Italian Deli & Eatery, and Curry Corner -- two of the six restaurants, Perk Eatery and Barrio Cafe, have been slotted to appear in May episodes.

Perk Eatery, the breakfast and lunch spot in North Phoenix, is scheduled to be on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives at 7 p.m. Monday, May 6.

"We can't wait to see how the episode turned out," says owner Pauline Martinez. "The entire filming process was truly a labor of love, and we look forward to seeing the end result."

Perk will be celebrating its televised glory with a a viewing party from 6:30 to 8 p.m Monday at the restaurant. Snacks will be served and the night will kick off with a champagne toast. Reservations are required. To reserve your seat, submit your RSVP to info@perkeatery.com.

Barrio Cafe, James Beard Award-nominated chef Silvana Salcido Esparza's restaurant of modern versions of traditional Mexican cuisine in Central Phoenix, will be on the show Monday, May 20.

Stay tuned for updates.
