Huss Brewery's New Craft Beer Happy Hour
Monday, June 19

The new "Happiest Hour" is launching at the Huss Brewing Co. Taproom at Uptown Plaza, at which time you can choose from a dozen craft brews to order by the pitcher for $6. If you're hungry, the happy hour also will include $2 sliders, with a choice of green chile pork with cojita cheese, roast beef with caramelized onion and melted muenster, or caprese with oven-roasted tomato. Starting today, the promotion will be available Monday through Friday, from opening until 6 p.m., and on weekends until 5 p.m.

Summertime Taco Tuesday Deals Launch at Casa Añejo

Casa Añejo is officially kicking off its Taco Tuesdays this week. Starting tomorrow, the shop will offer three tacos for $8 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. every Tuesday through the summer. Plus, this Tuesday, get house and specialty margaritas for just $5.

Hello Kitty Cafe Truck Returning to Scottsdale

On Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. the Hello Kitty Cafe truck will be parked in the Scottsdale Quarter near the fountains serving Hello Kitty cookies, rainbow macarons, mini cakes, and Hello Kitty bow-shaped water bottles. Fans can also shop for branded mugs and accessories.

Phoenix Gluten Free & Allergen Friendly Expo
Saturday and Sunday, June 24 and 25

The fourth annual Phoenix Gluten Free & Allergen Friendly Expo will return to the Renaissance Glendale Hotel & Spa this Saturday and Sunday to introduce new products for those following gluten-free or allergen-free diets. Exhibitors will include Spinato's Fine Foods, offering samples of their gluten-free pizzas; Udi's Gluten Free, offering samples of gluten-free pizza and whole grain sandwich bread; Glutino, which will be presenting gluten-free cookies and crackers; Picazzo's, offering gluten-free Italian dishes like pasta, salads, and desserts; and nearly 100 other gluten-free, allergen-free, and nut-free food companies who will be offering samples and selling their products. Tickets can be purchased online in advance or at the door for $15 for adults and $5 for children.

Herbal Wellness Kit Workshop at McDowell Market

Head to McDowell Market to learn how to heal yourself naturally using local, homegrown herbs. The class runs from noon to 2 p.m. and includes instruction on natural healing as well as making your own wellness kit. Go early and have a local coffee while perusing cookbooks in the onsite bookstore or stop by the market to pick up some organic produce, spices, and dry goods. Tickets are $25, which includes all supplies, and they must be reserved ahead of time online.
