Why Thursday? Well, there are already late-night options on Friday and Saturday.
Last week was the debut, and I stopped by for some ridiculously good boar bacon (pictured above), served with asparagus and a tiny sunny-side-up quail egg. The so-called bacon had a mouthwatering smokiness, but this was no crispy, fatty little slab o' pork. It was tender and meaty, a substantial dish. My informal poll of fellow food geeks out on the town that night agreed that this was the hands-down favorite.
seasoned tofu with yuzu and fresh wasabi
juniper berry infused Czech style pilsner (santan)
scallop veloute...with sunflower seed and basil

santan hefeweizen (unfiltered wheat bier)
chinese meatballs and fried rice...........nuff said!!!
