Hungry for your early morning serving of food news, with no preservatives or additives?

Sushi Party!
Head down south to Ahwatukee this Saturday for the unveiling of the new and improved RA Sushi. From 8 to Midnight enjoy $10 food specials including RA's signature Red Hot Roll and "RA"ckin' Rolls. It wouldn't be a party without drink specials, for $5 you can snag a RA-tini or a sultry sangria. In addition to the libations and fun eats, A firebreather, a Japanese drum line and DJ Jamie G will keep you entertained throughout the night. Rock on, RA!

Peanut Butter Goodness
You have been so good all week with your healthy eating, and now it's the weekend. Maybe you could slip up just a little a treat yourself to a batch of Peanut Butter Squares. Peanut butter could be healthy, if you get the right kind, and maybe you could use dark chocolate instead of semi-sweet, and then it wouldn't be cheating!

Keep Phoenix New Times Free... Since we started Phoenix New Times, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Phoenix, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Phoenix with no paywalls.
