Roka Akor's Tuesday Wine Tasting and Sweet Potato Cups in Today's Eater's Digest

Hungry for your early morning serving of food news, with no preservatives or additives?

Tastings on the Terrace
There is no rest for the wicked in the world of wine tastings and Tuesday's are no exception. Tonight, upscale Scottsdale Japanese restaurant Roko Akor hosts their November weekly wine night from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. outside on the terrace. Sample Sonoma County's Jordan Winery's Chardonnay and Cabernet. Roka Akor will also be serving up their most popular appetizers to soak up that wine. The tasting is complimentary and there is no need to RSVP, Just show up and have a good time.

Sweet Potato Cups
Sweet potatoes and yams are damn tasty. Why people insist on covering them with marshmallow is something we will never understand (Click here for more Thanksgiving classics we hate). Why not stray from the typical this thanksgiving and make Twice Baked Sweet Potato Cups. Chipotle, sour cream, butter, this recipe sounds like sweet and spicy orange heaven. Delicious!
