Rosé Summer Sipper at Sorso Wine Room

One of the most popular summertime wines? Rosé. And Scottsdale's Sorso Wine Room is celebrating the pink wine with a sampling of rosés from around the globe. During the tasting, you also can learn the best flavor profiles to pair with summer eats. Tickets cost $35 per person and include wine tasting and summer bites. Free Dinner at Jewel's Bakery and Cafe

Arcadia's gluten-free dining spot, Jewel's Bakery and Cafe, is now serving dinner and will celebrate the launch of dinner service with a soft-opening dinner on Wednesday. Half-Price Sliders for Chompie’s Customer Appreciation Day

Chompie's is celebrating Customer Appreciation Day with half-price sliders from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday. The restaurant's Jewish sliders are stacked with beef, a potato pancake, Jack cheese, and gravy, and served on a homemade challah roll. Each slider costs $2.50, and the slider limit is four. La Bocca Taken Wine Company Dinner
Wednesday, July 20 and Thursday, July 21

La Bocca Urban Wine Bar + Kitchens's northeast Phoenix and Tempe locations have partnered with Taken Wine Company from the St. Helena region of Napa to host winemaker dinners this week. La Bocca Tempe’s dinner is on Wednesday, July 20, and La Bocca North’s dinner is on Thursday, July 21. Each evening will begin with a 30-minute reception including passed hors d’oeuvres, followed by a five-course dinner. One sample course includes pasta puttanesca with olives, sun-blushed tomato, capers, and garlic paired with Taken's 2013 “Available” Red Blend. Each dinner is limited to 40 guests, and tickets cost $75 per person. Both dinners start at 6 p.m., and reservations are required.
